Short Note On Role of System Analysis
ROLE OF SYSTEM
ANALYSIS : The system analysis is
a person who controls the whole system
development. The imprint role of system analysis are given below -
1. System analysis must hold people to solve
there problems . he or she must
understand people problem suggest solution and implement them so, analysis are
required to have good communication skill.
2. System analysis must learn about the system and to understand all the
requirements of the system.
3. The analysis must terms ,report, and
office procedure manuals as applicable.
4. The analysis must also knows about
recent development in computer system and software .he need not be an expert
programmer or computer manager but knows enough technical details and computer
manager.
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) :
To build a new system we need a number of steps . this
sequence of steps is knows as the system life cycle or system development life
cycle. these sequence of steps are -
1. System study.
2. System analysis
3. System design
4. Implementation
5. Maintenance.
The system life cycle organist with a system request . a
typical request provides some ides of
the problem to be resolve , the type of system being requested and the expected benefits. many
request from employs and user in organization are not clearly stated. Therefore before any sub system
investigation can be considered , the project request must be examined to determined
what organization wants.
An important output come of the preliminary investigation is
the determination that the systems request is feasible . there are three
aspects in the feasibility study protein of the preliminary investigation.
There are -
1. Technical feasibility
2. Economic feasibility
3. Operational feasibility
Now we discuss the different phase of system life cycle .fist
the management has to indicate a system study where the problem is analysis schematically
and a feasibility report is prepared based on the study the management may
fell that creating a new system is not justified and may drop the idea.
If the propose
system is found feasible and management gives a go head , the system analysis
phase starts . data is gathered and a details study of the existing system and
requirement is carried out. This specifies what is requirement specification.
The most creative and challenging phase of the system life
cycle is system design. Where what is to be done is translated into how to do it, design include detailing how the system is to be
build along side this phase the system
process of sizing and selection of hardware is carried out and the hardware of
software is than developed tested and installed ,this called the implementation
phase.
All though the system is now operational it will continuously
need changes due to error in the system changes in functionality and the need
for additional features . this part of the system life cycle is longest phase
in the life cycle.
Finally
the system may become osculated because of the technology . in this situation a
new system is requested for the life cycle is complete.
